Training

Training for the Austin marathon in Feb.  Ran 6 miles today.  I can do it, never thought I would even try, now I am.  Will definately be in the best shape of my life by Dec 13.   What does the future hold, an iron man?   Hmm.

When man pushes his body beyond what you think you can do, you'll soon discover you can do more than you ever thought was possible.  

Had a softball gm after my run and hit a 320 ft bomb over dead center.  I'm getting younger, faster, stronger, healthier and wealthier everyday.  Tyg

Sun / mon / tues

Spent Sun night w cris in San antonio, came back monday for greenbelt run w two and Trevor.   Ran 7 miles.   Today had crossfit workout, whew.  Now off to work till midnight, then out to celebrate d's birthday downtown.    Every day I'm shuffalin.....

Drove Aston Martin hm from work Fri night, pretty sweet.   Sat, picked up rex and went to Chris's then out on lake Austin in the boat.   Drove lake and had lunch at a place along the water.   Then went to work til 4am.

Had fun at work lastnight, up early today, off to academy to buy some new running shoes, then to the gym, hm to work on commodities for the rest of the day, then back to work til 330 am....

South Padre Island

Just got back from a 4 day vacation to South Padre Island, TX.   Cris and I walked into a bar within about 30 minutes of being there.  Ended up talking to this guy whose wife just left him the night before.  We sat there and listened and hung out with him.   Within about 30 mins, he offered to pay for our meal, drinks and bought a parasailing adventure for us.   We went parasailing, which was pretty cool.  Bar hopped, ate losts of food, went in the ocean a lot and snorkeled.  Nice relaxing trip, everything goes by so fast though.  It seems like yesterday we were planning this trip a month out, now its over.  Back to work today.
